I offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults.

At this time I only offer telehealth services.

My areas of emphasis include life transitions, depression, anxiety, and other mood concerns, and I work extensively with individuals who are LGBTQIA2S+. I will work with you to determine what mode of therapy will work best for you. I generally use a blend of psychodynamic, cognitive, humanistic, and eclectic therapies. I believe many difficulties in the present reflect patterns that were developed earlier in life, and it becomes our goal to see how those patterns served you then and whether they continue to serve you now. I also help individuals examine and challenge their negative beliefs about themselves and learn to approach themselves with a greater sense of loving kindness. I am an active participant in sessions and appreciate joining individuals on their journeys. I also network with other professionals as needed to help people address a wide range of needs. In addition, I write letters for body affirming surgery free of charge.

Rates

  • Initial Telephone Screening (15 Minutes): No Charge

  • Initial Visits/Clinical Evaluation: $300

  • Individual Therapy: $200/hour (one hour or any portion thereof)

  • Written Report: $150/report

  • Letters/Form Signature: $50/letter or form (not for body-affirming surgery – see below)

  • Appointments and letters for Body-Affirming Surgery: no charge

  • Consultation: $225/hour

  • Court Fees: $250/hour (including travel)

I offer a 15-minute initial telephone consultation, free of charge, to discuss your therapeutic needs, and to see if we are a good match to best address your concerns. Other services are charged as listed above and fees are collected at the time of service.

I have a limited number of sliding fee scale slots available, please contact me for more information.

While I generally charge for appointments and letters, this is not applicable to individuals seeking letters for body-affirming surgeries. These are done free of charge.

Payment

I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Insurance

Everbreeze Psychological Services does not accept insurance, and I am considered an out-of-network (OON) provider. I work with individuals who pay privately as well as those who submit to their insurance companies for out-of-network benefits. I collect payment at the time of service and provide a monthly superbill, which reflects all payments made that month, which you may then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits for individuals seeking psychological services and will reimburse a percentage of fees charged. To find out if you have out-of-network benefits, please call your insurance company and ask the following questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental/behavioral health benefits?

  • How much does my plan cover for out-of-network providers?

  • How many sessions are covered, and under what time period?

  • Do I have an annual deductible, and has it been met?

  • How much will my policy pay for the following coded sessions (used most often, but not exclusively, in this practice): 90834 and 90791?

  • How do I go about obtaining reimbursement?

  • What forms do I need to submit, where do I get them, and what information do I need to provide in order to be reimbursed?
